Christian Fellowship Church
There are Christian Fellowship church locations across the world but mostly in the United States. They follow Jesus and have a literal interpretation of the bible.
They believe God is the Creator and Ruler of the universe who has eternally existed in three distinct personalities: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. These three are coequal and One.
They believe Jesus Christ is the Messiah, the Savior, the Son of God who was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of all people by dying on a cross. He arose from the dead on the third day demonstrating His power over sin and death. He ascended to Heaven and will return again someday as our victorious King.
They believe the Holy Spirit is present in the world to make people aware of their need for Jesus Christ. Everyone who accepts Christ has the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit who acts as a Comforter, Guide, and Advocate, providing the believer with power for living, understanding of spiritual truth, and guidance in doing what is right.
About the Bible:
They believe the Bible is God's Word to us. It is divinely inspired and the supreme source of truth for daily living. Because it is inspired by God, it is truth without error.
They believe people are the supreme object of God's creation. Although every person has tremendous potential for good, all of us are marred by an attitude of disobedience toward God called "sin". Sin separates us from God and causes many problems in our life.
It is believed salvation comes only through Jesus Christ and cannot be earned. It is God's free gift to us but we must accept it. We can never make up for our sin by self-improvement or good works. Only by trusting in Jesus Christ as God's offer of forgiveness can anyone be saved from sin's penalty.
The Christian fellowship Church believes people were created to exist forever. We will either exist eternally separated from God by sin or eternally with God through forgiveness and salvation. Heaven and hell are real places of eternal existence.
They believe the church, as the body of Christ, is the extension of Jesus Christ's character, attitude, behavior, and mission in our world today.
