Unity Church Paranormal Belief

Unity Church Paranormal Belief is based on Christian paranormal belief where it is stated, that is forbidden that believers attempt contact with malevolent spirits that pretend to be spirits of the dead, as stated in Deuteronomy 18:11 and that the dead should not have contact with the living as stated in Luke 16:19-31.

Unity Church Paranormal belief is this contact results in contact with spirits that are not of the dead but malevolent spirits which are deceitful and pretending to be such and as such are commanded by Satan and are named as demons, evil spirits and unclean spirits.

Unity Church Paranormal belief is these spirits are familiar with the recent dead and is the reason why they have knowledge with intimate name details, places, situations and circumstances. In the bible this is referred to as a familiar spirit, Isaiah 29:4.

Unity Church Paranormal Belief is the plan of demon spirits to become interested in all that they do especially the wonders they seem to b e able to perform and thus affect people and move them away from their relationship with God.

Often those interested in the paranormal including ghosts and end up experimenting with other activities such as Ouija boards, tarot cards, astrology, fortune telling etc. The search for spirituality often results in delving deeper into the occult which results in an ever increasing downward slope into the occult.

As stated in the bible it is believed that Satan will have then "blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God." (2 Cor. 4:4).

Christians believe in God and in the Devil and believe that God is stronger than the Devil.

Christians believe in the rite of exorcism to rid those possessed by evil spirits of said evil spirits This rite must be performed by an ordained priest who is specially trained for this purpose.

God created everything that is perfect, and anything that Satan created is not perfect. It is quite clear then that sin itself would have been created by Satan, and not God, it is also then quite clear that God can do anything-God is perfection. God is love.

Satan is not.

The Unity Church also known as the Unity School of Christianity is a faith contained within the wider New Thought movement. It originated in 1889 in Kansas City, Missouri by Charles and Myrtle Fillmore as a result of their belief that she had been cured of tuberculosis as a result of spiritual healing.

This resulted in the studying of spiritual healing. This gradually developed into the Unity movement as the couple attempted to share their insights through magazines, books, and pamphlets and through 'Silent Unity', a telephone and mail service that offered people help through prayer and counseling.

It describes itself as a "positive, practical Christianity" which "teach the effective daily application of the principles of Truth taught and exemplified by Jesus Christ" and promotes "a way of life that leads to health, prosperity, happiness, and peace of mind."

The Unity Church describes itself as a worldwide Christian organization which teaches a positive approach to life, seeking to accept the good in all people and events, and as beginning as a healing ministry and healing has been its main emphasis for over 100 years. It teaches that all people can improve the quality of their lives through thought.

Unity describes itself as having no particular creed, no set dogma, and no required ritual. It maintains that there is good in every approach to God and in every religion that is filling someone's needs. Its position holds that one should not focus on past sins but on the potential good in all.

Unity emphasizes spiritual healing, prosperity and practical Christianity in its teachings. Illness is considered to be curable by spiritual means, but Unity does not reject or resist medical treatments.

It is an inclusive faith that welcomes diversity of belief. Unity is accepting of the beliefs of others.
