New Thought Paranormal Belief

New Thought Paranormal Belief leaves it to the believer as to what the individual belief is. Since the religion is a Christian faith and in the Christian bible it is stated, that is forbidden that believers attempt contact with malevolent spirits that pretend to be spirits of the dead, as stated in Deuteronomy 18:11 and that the dead should not have contact with the living as stated in Luke 16:19-31.

New Thought paranormal belief is this contact results in contact with spirits that are not of the dead but malevolent spirits which are deceitful and pretending to be such and as such are commanded by Satan and are named as demons, evil spirits and unclean spirits.

New Thought paranormal belief is these spirits are familiar with the recent dead and is the reason why they have knowledge with intimate name details, places, situations and circumstances. In the bible this is referred to as a familiar spirit, Isaiah 29:4.

New Thought paranormal belief is the plan of demon spirits to become interested in all that they do especially the wonders they seem to b e able to perform and thus affect people and move them away from their relationship with God.

Often those interested in the paranormal including ghosts and end up experimenting with other activities such as Ouija boards, tarot cards, astrology, fortune telling etc. The search for spirituality often results in delving deeper into the occult which results in an ever increasing downward slope into the occult.

As stated in the bible it is believed that Satan will have then "blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God." (2 Cor. 4:4).

Christians believe in God and in the Devil and believe that God is stronger than the Devil.

Christians believe in the rite of exorcism to rid those possessed by evil spirits of said evil spirits This rite must be performed by an ordained priest who is specially trained for this purpose.

God created everything that is perfect, and anything that Satan created is not perfect. It is quite clear then that sin itself would have been created by Satan, and not God, it is also then quite clear that God can do anything-God is perfection. God is love.

Satan is not.

The New Thought Religion also known as the New Thought Movement originated in the United States during the late 19th Century. It is an allied group of religious faiths and secular organizations and others who share a set of metaphysical beliefs.

New Thought as a movement had no single origin, but was rather propelled along by a number of spiritual thinkers and philosophers and emerged through a variety of religious denominations and churches.

The earliest identifiable proponent of the movement was Phineas Parkhurst Quimby (1802–66), an American philosopher, mesmerist, healer, and inventor.

These metaphysical beliefs are concerned with the effects of positive thinking, law of attraction, healing, life force, creative visualization and personal power.

It promotes the ideas that God is ubiquitous, spirit is the totality of real things, true human selfhood is divine, divine thought is a force for good, all sickness originates in the mind, and 'right thinking' has a healing effect.

Although New Thought is neither monolithic nor doctrinaire, in general modern day adherents of New Thought believe that God is "supreme, universal, and everlasting", that divinity dwells within each person and that all people are spiritual beings, and that "the highest spiritual principle [is] loving one another unconditionally and that our mental states are carried forward into manifestation and become our experience in daily living.

The three major, but distinct, religious denominations within the American New Thought movement are Unity Church, Religious Science and the Church of Divine Science.
